codoco.net was borne out of the frustration of trying to get trac to install; after hammering the nails through my own palms, finding out that we could only manage one project at a time brought me to the brink of tears.

Trac is a fantastic system though; don't get me wrong, I have nothing but admiration for it, but the whole "runs it's own webserver" type palava was a bit much for us. Hence codoco. We wanted a system we could track multiple projects on, some public, some internal.

By this point we had written a (very) basic version of trac; it had tickets, comments, and most importantly a project based heirachy. The decision was made to open it up to the public (that would be you) to iron out any "unintended functionality" and because we thought it was pretty cool.
